Memory stick formatting.

So yeah, I mismanaged my memory stick somewhat and just feel like I am wasting a lot of space somewhere. It is a 1G card and I am running 3.03 OE-C FW. I would like to format my memory stick and start from scratch, but do not want to lose my game saves etc. What method do you usually use to clear out the mess and restart?

Interesting...I went to look around a bit and just found where my space was being wasted. When interacting with the PSP in Linux, if you "Send to Trash" a file, without doing a Shift-Del, a .Trash folder is created on the PSP and a group of files (200MB!) was waiting to be deleted permanently. Good - freed up some space.

Anyway, let's discuss the original question as I would like to optimize the space on my stick and it seems likely that I have stuff on there that I don't need.
