there are like a couple of thousand Tv remotes out there, none of them are innovative, this new controller is the same thing, runs the basic principles of a remote controll for the TV. The only thing new is the analog that its attached to. And incase you didnt notice, your thumb can only reach to a certain amount. And if you look at the pic, its physicaly impossible to press the A button and the B button using 1 hand, its either the A button, or the B button that you press, you cant press both if your using 1 hand, your thumb span isnt far enough. And if your using the Dpad, then its impossible to press any other button but A. This is one messed idea

Don't like it. I can see many third-party controllers being sold.

w0w. Very interesting concept, they may make up for their lack of power in the innovation. Only time will tell, but I will say nice job to Nintendo for not failing us on their "revolutionary" controller!

OK when i first saw the controller i was let down and i thought nintendo would now die. but after i read the article i was pretty skeptical and than i got the understanding from the ign article and thought about and the possibilities for that controller are insane, dont be quick to judge just cause it looks like a flashy remote control, everyone whose used it, in other words the guys from gamespot and IGN have said the controller is unbelievably comfortable to use. and lets not forget the add on feautre check out ign http://cube.ign.com/articles/651/651559p1.html they have a picture of the controller shell thats probably how theyll get SNES and NES and all that other fun stuff to work. also if i remember correctly doesnt the side of the system have controller ports for the gamecube or something like that. but see with that add one feature and the possibility for the light gun and other things the controller could be used for so many things. and you can have two controllers one in each hand check out that link it gives you a good understanding of the controller. but ultimately it will depend on the games we'll just have to wait and see i mean look at the DS that was looking gimicky at first too and now look at it, its got a good game base and its pretty fun to play right on par with the PSP. so i guess we just got to have a little faith in Nintendo.
