The PSP is junk

Clearly the Sega Game Gear is better. It has much better games. It even has a magnifying glass so that pwns the PSP.

Well if you take a step back in time, look how much more advanced the GameGear was compared to the Gameboy models. I'd say the first time that the Gameboy line SURPASSED the GameGear was when the Gameboy Advance SP came out. The GameGear was truly ahead of its time.

But Sega always had the best 3D graphic engines and even after the head of time when Sonic was made, it gotten
so much better. Personally I think the Gameboy Advance is just a 1.5 times upgrade from the originals, I just don't
think new designs could never make a better game.

If I must be called a fanboy of anything, I would label myself a fanboy of Sega. I grew up in a strictly Sega household and I have still kept my Sega systems in working order to this day. Sega always made innovative games and extremely innovative consoles, most of which they made "add-ons" for such as the add-ons for the Sega Genesis (the 32X and the Sega CD - also sold separately). That is the reason I've loved Sega consoles - because they keep on providing upgradeable gaming experiences and more state of the art technology that is before its time... but in saying that, I also recognize that the add-ons were also Sega's downfall. People didn't want to spend the extra cash for the add-ons. Nowadays though, I think they make great collectors items.

When I first played Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so glad I got that instead
of the playstation.

I was amazed by the graphics as well. I wish they could have brought more top notch games to the dreamcast. I still enjoy mine occasionally to this day.

Most of the systems do that now with backwards compatability, so instead of building a whole fortress of consoles you just need one.

But yeah I remember jamming on my gamegear for plenty hours with some shining force, shinobi, football, sonic, and mortal kombat. I loved that thing.

Message to the author...you do know that you can play game gear on your psp right?

The author of this thread is actually a close friend of mine - lives just a few blocks away. He doesn't have a PSP yet, but he'd like to get one soon. I may buy an external hard drive off of him to help cover some costs.

ha! don't you love it when someone you meet on the forums is actually sooo close to you? The funniest thing happened to me today!, I was at the library, By the way...I hate books..., I was there because My server was down and I had to go on PSPBREW (NO JOKE)! And one of the Nu Brewers was sitting across from me typing away in the general chat section! I couldn't confirm who it was because they had all these letters going on it there name, but I was amazed!

That's pretty awesome. The only people I've seen on pspbrew were people I've referred here. I think it would be pretty awesome to see someone out in public on pspbrew. I'd walk up to them and be like, "see that DarkPacMan guy?..... yea, that's me". ;) lol. That'd be a neat feeling.
