Will SEGA ever return

Hi guys. Do you think SEGA would ever return to the console market? I know they still make loads of games but i'm sure some people out there would love it if they returned to make a new console. I know it's a very very long shot but hey, The Spice girls reformed as did Take that lol. Whats your opinion on this subject guys. Are they to poor nowadays?

Its hard to tell, if you look back Sega was a head of its time, I think they will make a comeback, maybe give them another
few years it will probably work out.

If need be, DarkPacMan77 and myself will strap up with Mac 10s and rob Microsoft so we can re-establish SEGA to it's former glory!

We might also enlist the help of Street Fighter World Champions, Sonic The Hedgehog, and an Altered Beast.

I hope not I hated sega, and still do.

Sega is king....just you wait. They made over the best consoles throughout the years.
If it wasn't for Sony putting them out of business then I wouldn't be the PS fan-boy I am today.

ummm idk i dont really know much about sega... i barly played it only game i playes was resident evil in the dreamcast and it has one of the guns so that was fun

omg... SEGABrew.com... oh the possibilities. You know what? - I'd actually like that idea BETTER than pspbrew.... and I love pspbrew. Sega is just where I come from.

Anyways, regarding SEGA making a comeback, sure it's possible. They have more money now than they did after the Dreamcast was released actually. In FACT, to my knowledge, SEGA itself, doens't even exist anymore. SEGA merged with Sammy so now the company is called SEGA Sammy... at least, that was last I heard. But could they make a console - yes. Will they - 90% chance no, but I'd like to see it happen.

Maybe with the help of Microsoft again, they can still have a chance, it would truly be successful. Like I said, Sega would've been in a LONG shot if Sony's marketing wasn't hurting Sega's reputation, thats why Microsoft had to come around with the Xbox.

They lost too much money when the made the dreamcast.

Yer shame really it could have easily been a four horse race. Personally I liked the Dreamcast but errm I dunno it was just lacking something which I cant quite out my finger on. Perhaps like it missed a killer title like the GTA series and Halo ect. Maybe they will return who knows, they do make some pretty decent games these days. I wonder what they would call it lol.

I'm guessing they would call it the "Dreamcast 2". :p I think it would be awesome if sega came out and made a new system. I still sort've remember the good old days when xbox didn't even come out yet....
