Halo 3 Aftermath

Did any of u get halo3 and skipped school or work to play the game.
At my school there were lot of sick student who didnt come to school......

first off im a sony fanboy all the way so i dont have an xbox... but my uncles kid dose and im at his place now and he went to work after sitting in line for 2 houres to get the special edition copy with the helmet thing... any way i have to say i tryed it and was only impressed by the graphics upgrade.. thats it the enemy will still stand in the open and shoot at you. the litle ones still say stupid things and well its the same old same old in the land of halo. one cool thing is you can pull the mounted guns of there turrets... that was cool

Halo 3 is now the top game out now. all the game features are all great. but i didnt like the ending.

halo 3 looks great, but ONLY for online play, the halo story lines are almost basicly the same and they get old, but man (i didnt get a copy, no 360) but that Online play looks amazingly fun.


and yea, the ending was ridiculesly stupid, just my opinion. (saw it on youtube)

Who would want it? I do know that my friend got it and its the Halo Three version of the Xbox 360 with the helmet so yea. Why would you want to get it?

I didnt get it, but a know several kids at my school that did. I don't think any of them skipped tho. I've played halo 2 tho, i always like online games like halo. but i just play Star Wars battlefront online instead =/

Wish I could get my hands the 360 and that game, sadly I'm still playing Halo 2 online.

I think Halo is underdeveloped and "incomplete". People have already beat the entire campaign mode. Therefor, a game that spent that long in development is not worth it IMO.

I'm not a fanboy of any current systems/ companies; I'm just a gamer. But when I see the Playstation 3's capabilities to exceed the 8gb limit of DVD and bring Bluray onto the market... I just can't look at the xbox the same. Halo 3 would have made a much better appearance on the Playstation 3 because it would have been able to be several times longer, and much more expansive. I would have happily waited another YEAR for it to come out on the PS3, but as it is, I won't even look twice at Halo 3. It isn't worth it.

And you know I can't be a fanboy because I don't even own a PS3.

Eh, I'm not a fanboy either. All I have is a Wii, but if I did have a 360 then I would so get this game primarily for the online play. I mean really, once halo 2 hit the market I believed they just made the rest of the series primarily for online play since it got so much attention. But in Halo 3 I have to say is awesome. My friend got it monday night went to skool so I rode home with him and played co-op with him for a hour or two and just by playing that it seems to me like Bungie put a lot of the stuff in it that we always wanted to do in Halo 2 but couldn't. (IE. the turrent thing). But I will be getting a 360 for Christmas with a copy of the (basic, the legendary one is just a waist of money for a dinky helmet you can't even ware >.<) Halo 3. Loved it.

I was on Gametrailers last night, and you would not believe how many were already disappointed
with the game, most of them already mentioned that it was overhyped over rated.
