if the 01-12.bmp is located in the same place then it should work. This was something that was never really changed throughout firmwares 1.50 - 3.71 (when i was still around) chances are it still works tho.

Ok now, I KNOW that 4.01 hasn't changed that much lol.
Are you on cfw? And did you go to the recovery menu and toggle USB for flash0?

Ah, I thought you meant that there wasn't a flash0.
Hmm, according to a torrent of the 4.01M33-2 flash0 files that I found, it's right there. \vsh\resource\01-12.bmp

Are you on XP or Vista? Last time I was using the 3.90 flash0, I had to paste a file that I didn't even see there. Essentially the file was just hidden, so I just pasted the file I needed there and then magically the overwrite menu came up. Did you try that?

lol yah i knew there was a flash0, but
No i didnt try to even put it in so I'll try that right now
although i'd like to find the original first just in case, and btw i still dont see that file in flash0>vsh>resource

also could you try to give me a link to the torrent or send me the 1-12.bmp?

EDIT: I found it, it works, thanks for the help, @ace or staxx, you were right about the 1-12 file being hidden.
