Do you have to create a magic sticking using the PSP?

I created a magic stick on my PSP Slim. I was able to successfully mod my PSP Slim with this magic stick and a pandora battery.

I then used this same magic stick to mod a PSP Phat. Is there anything wrong with this? Should a magic stick be created specifically by the PSP it will be used to mod?

Also, can I create another magic stick by simply copy and pasting the same files onto a clean (recently formatted) stick?

Thanks.

One magic memory stick should suffice for a phat or slim. The files you use determine whether or not you mod a slim or a phat. As far as I know there aren't any phat specific files for use with Pandora. You should be good. You should be concerned more with what firmware you have than the PSP type. You may need to be on 3.52 or better. There are other options but most people have upgraded firmware to 3.xx. Finding anything lower is rare nowdays. Anyhow, know what firmware you are on and know your options for downgrading with that firmware.

You can not create a magic stick by copy and pasting information. You need to create the special partition (called C+D) for it to be a magic stick.
