New PSP'r

Well I have never done an update on the PSP I just got it, its version 3.51 sO i GUESS i AM STUCK.

Is there anything cool I can do with the psp until they release a downgrade from 3.51?

Maybe SNES roms or anything to bide my time.

You can play flash games or use portals.

Whats a portal

Eh...its like the PSP menu screen (XMB) but instead they made their own menu screen on flash,
which your firmware can play. They have videos, music, pictures and all kinds of things like the PSP.
Im not sure but I think you can only have whats in there. You cant put your own in (please correct me if Im wrong

Unless you know flash actionscript, or html then you can't really edit portals. Most portals though just are remakes of like OS's, like there are window's portal's, or iPhone portals and such imitating a certain device or operating system. Most of the time you access them by going to your web browser and typing in what the readme states to type in. Just a series of web pages, that's all a portal is. But you don't need an active connection for most portals.
