Bricked slim & can't seem to unbrick with Despertar Ceme

I used this to setup magic stick and pandora battery
http://www.badongo.com/file/5552706

Creating battery and stick was easy - then put pandora into slim and booting into despertar cementar menu - pressing X to upgrade to 3.71 m33, it goes for a while and gets this error:
psar decode error - ps x0x1a5220.

It does this even if I use O to install the standard sony 3.71 firmware.

Please let me know if anyone has any new ideas :(

Format your memory stick then use the total newbi installer from this link...

I've used it on about 7 diff psp's one right after the other in one night, so i can personally confirm that it works.

Tried 3 types of pandora - all failing

Hi mate I've tried the one you suggested and I can't seem to boot into any menu with that one, these are the ones I've tried and these are their results. Can you suggest any others - is it perhaps my memory stick - it's sony memory stick pro duo 1gb - and under information in the psp is says magicgate unknown - could this be the problem?

With this one I get to the point where I run "Despertar del Cementerio" pull the memory stick out and then

nothing can read the memory stick

- I get the psar error whether I choose to upgrade to CFW or OFW

Tried Failed to boot off the stick and produce a menu

Yeah if the memory stick is unknown then it means its fake. Most fake sticks have limited or no functionality. My suggestion just go to a well known electronics or retail store and purchase a 1gb. Theyre pretty cheap now too i think theyre about $10 (Canadian).

If you wanna give a different tutorial a shot, heres another one that i've personally tested...

you're right about the stick

Yip it was the stick, I got a friend around who's been pandora'ing these for a while - ran the same things off a different stick and walla I now have a slim working with 3.71 M33-4

Thanks for all you help.
