[HELP] Installing Custom gameboot and intro

I have a 3.71 M33 PSP now, and I was wondering how to install the custom gameboots and intros to my PSP. I tried using flash0 and replacing the gameboots and intros using a video for a tutorial, but it says that the file is too big, even though I'm replacing the original with a new one. I was trying to place brentbizzle's MGS4 gameboot in. I renamed MGS4.pmf to gameboot.pmf and the error occurs over and over again. So, I recovered all the original files to start fresh again. Someone please help me with this problem.

Try deleting your DIC folder from flash0 then see if it works. Intro's don't work on 3.71 m33.

Okay........give me a sec......

nope. Doesn't seem to be big enough yet..... I just need a few more MB of space. The gameboot size is 3 MB about.

Well I know they have about a 2.3 second limit or so, but I think it also has a 500 KB limit. If you can show me the video you want of the 2-3 seconds, I can make it for you.

In the tutorial section...click on the master guide (its stickied) and look up pacmans tutorial for clearing flash space. Just do the portion with the fonts and you should have enough room after thats finished. Either that, or wait to see if advent can compress the video for you, or try using cxmb so that the gameboot loads from your mem stick instead of the flash0

Does the cxmb thing work on 3.71 M33? I thought about that too, but I thought it doesn't work?

Not 100% sure, but no harm in trying.

Well, Advent Wolf, the MGS4 can be found here.

It's under the MGS4 thing. Shows a video and download for it.
