rockin the 3.4 open ish dish can i go to M33?

Ok my psp's firmware right now is 3.40 oe-a. I think its time for an upgrade because i can't conenct my psp to my ps3 like i was able to a while back using remote play. Don't get me wrong 3.40 is awesome (mainly for being able to play ps1 isos) but i guess i have the last update of the OE firmwares. I noticed that there are new firmwares (i think) M33. Can M33 play ps1 isos and what not? Is it even possible for me to upgrade to M33? Is it even considered an update?

It's an update, and yes, you can use it. When you download the package to install the custom firmware, it will come with a guide.

If you want to use one of the newer m33 firmwares you'll need to be at 3.52 m33-3 or -4 to be able to update to them.
