iso's

i downloaded iso's of games i already own.. (ff7 + fF8)

but when i extracted them, in ff7 the last disk wasnt an iso, it was 3 files it was a CCD file, SUB file, IMG file

than for ff8 the first disk had the same as above and the last disk had 2 files a MDF file, and an MDS file

how do i convert them in to ISO's so that the emulator can read them?

Well to start off... psx games cant be run as iso's they need to be converted to eboot and keys files. You can use umdgen to do that if you want or you can just go look to download from a different source that would have them premade. I think the other stuff is the dump from the disc (raw data) Not sure if you can directly convert it with umdgen or if you would have to convert it to an iso and then use umdgen.

Once you have your eboot and keys file...create a new folder with the title of your game, throw your eboot and keys into that folder then throw that folder into your game folder and it should work.

I'm assuming your already on custom firmware as well.

And if you want, you can use This Tutorial to make the eboot files yourself from your own discs.
