PSP Internet Radio?

Has anyone tried it yet? If yes, I have a few questions:

  1. Which Radio Player did you download? (I or II)
  2. Do you need to subcribe to SHOUTcast or icecast2?
  3. If yes, is there a price involved?
  4. What is the size of each Radio Player? How much memory stick space does it need?
  5. And the most inportant one of all, will it screw up my Phat PSP since I have a CFW 3.90 M33-2?

Thanks in advance.

For the PSP?

#1 I downloaded the one with the 3 balls on it whichever that is

#2 I have never had to subscribe to SHOUTcast, ever. I have never used Icecast.

#3 I paid nothing for it I think it is a free download to the public.

#4 I do not know exactly how big the player is but I do not think it takes up a lot of room because it opens in a browser window and loads quickly for the PSP.

#5 If you have a Fatty PSP it will not load because the Fatty does not seem to have enough ram to load the script or stream the music; that is my guess.

Solution? Sell your fatty on eBay and buy a slim.
Mine eats a lot of battery though when I am streaming audio. It only lasts like 3 or 4 hours depending on how loud the volume is.

Thanks for the info. I did download the player you recommend (keep in mind that both players have the three circular icons. As for the phat PSP not being able to load the script or the stream, you could put that theory to rest, because I am able to stream the music and no hiccups whatsoever.. clean, uninterrupted signal. Maybe it depends on the connection and the radio's stream signal? Have only been playing the first two or three 80's channels and no hiccups. As for the size of the player, no size at all, very tiny 11.8k prs file that is downloaded to the memory stick: ms0:/PSP/RADIOPLAYER/* directory.

Thanks a million!
