need help with custom homebrew firmware (psp slim/V3.93)

Hello, I have seen alot of interesting that can only be done with homebrew so I wanted to know if anyone could please tell me how to get the new homebrew custom firmware on my psp slim with V3.93 firmware from sony, or is it even possible to get yet with that high of firmware? I have tried everything to get it I followed the directions for so many different tutorials and none of them work. Ok, so here is what I have a psp slim(2000) with sony's V3.93 firmware. I also have a psp fat with sony's V3.51 firmware. I have 2 1G memory cards and a 4G memory card coming soon. I have tried deleting all the contents from my psp and getting the homebrew firmware that way but it didn't work I got as far as the pandora's battery creator but it was never able to run the program for the creator. Can somebody please give me a descriptive tutorial on how to get the homebrew custom firmware on my psp, I would prefer the newest but if you can give me a guide to get any of them i'm sure I can get to the newest firmware myself. If it is currently not possible to get the homebrew custom firmwares with my psp and version please tell me.

Thank you,

take your origional "phat psp" battery, cut it open, and remove the 5th pin (makes it a pandoras battery)... Then take 1 of your mem sticks, and create a "magic memory stick" using the "total newbinstaller (google for it)

Done

Then you need to seek out someone that has a modded PSP to use the Pandora Battery Creator to soft mod it for you or you need to purchase one from the web. Then there will be no need to cut anything open. Trust me, I slit mine open for nothing.
