pandora battery mother board issues.

I am helping my friend put homebrew on his psp he has not bought it yet but is soon. so my question is will I be able to downgrade it using Pandora's battery? if not is it going to be possible by another way?

So far all PSPs to date can be downgraded with the Pandora method.
