Confused and need help please

I recently found my PSP, after years of not using it, and decided I wanted to see if anyone had figured out a way to save me from the idiocy I had caused when I moved from 1.50 years ago.

Well, I have firmware 3.03 right now and found the Pandora’s Battery (Unbricker/Universal Downgrader) and tried it. However when I got to step 15;

15. Now stop the USB connection again and use the PSP to open the "Pandora's Battery Firm. Installer".

It failed to run the program and now I am stuck. I dunno... I must really misunderstand what to do here. All I really want is to play some NES or SNES roms on this thing...

To make a pandora's battery using software, you have to run the program on a psp that is already homebrew capable. If you ONLY have your psp, you are going to have to hard modify a battery, or buy a pandora's battery off the net.

Hard modify a battery eh? I really.. and I mean really don't have anything to lose here if I f**k up, and there is no way I can really buy a battery off the net. What is the process here.

3.03 is old school but it can be done without the Pandora.

this program will do it: download (only if you have GTA:LCS)

3.50 downgrade : download (only if you have Lumines)

otherwise you will need a Pandora battery

Yea likely you have either of those games, they are very simple downgrades. I used the Lumines downgrade a long time ago.
