trading my psp

I have a friend at school and he has a PSP version 2.7 I think and mines a brand new version 3.11 PSP and all he does is plays games on his that he buys so I told him Ill give him my PSP and $20 for his and he said Ill think about it.

1. Is that a good deal?
2. If I want to downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to OE-C (With The PSP my friends trading me) couldnt I brick my PSP? I dont want to do that cause my mom will kill me.
3. I heard theres a program to make it impossile to brick. Is ther really?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hes ganna trade and im kinda but not really ripping him off. I said that I would trade him my 3.11 PSP and $20 but I just am ganna show him how to get internet on it so then he will say ok. What I'll do ishe lives downtown and I was downtown with my PSP and I picked up an Internet signel that had no sucurity and thats how I will show him that he can go on the internet with his psp.

ok its a version 2.80 is that ok?? still can I downgrade and if I can how cause I want the best version that most people use and what can I do wiht it?
