How do I...

How do i play ISOs on my
PSP if i have 3.03 oe-c?

I know that a loader is built-in,
but what do I do to play it?

Does it play any ISO with any
file extension? For example,
can it play .DAX?

From what I know you can only play games that are either .cso or.iso

All you have to do is make a folder titled ISO in the root of your memory stick and drag the iso/cso files in there.

Just to clarify 100%, .dax is not supported for custom firmware.

Okay, i gotcha...
Yeah that was my
problem: my ISO
was in .DAX format.

Thanks, guys.

One quick thing:
If my ISO is in .DAX
is there i way i can
uncompress it to make
.cso or .iso or something?

Yes, several ISO compressors now have a format changing function.

Alright, awesome.

Well i got all the .CSOs
in the ISO folder of my
root, but when i try to run
Prince of Persia:Revelations,
it gives me an error :S

(that same error that one gets
when trying to run homebrew
on a non-homebrew firmware).

I tried it with MGS:P.O., and it
worked fine--P.O.P., however,
isn't running for some reason.

Is it because i uncompressed it?

It could be that it didn't like being uncompressed or recompressed etc. Sometimes isos will goof up because of the "level of compression" you use.

You have to go to recovery mode on the cfw and set it so no umd is needed.
