Probably cause most of them are noobs, and want to have the highest and coolest newest firmware they can get to be all cool, then they are wondering if its a good idea and go ahead and do it, but then they find a site like this and say in posts "omg plzzzzzzzz helppp ME" when they already screwed themselfs.

Instead of kicking yourself in the nuts I would suggest taking back that psp or selling it and getting a new one.

well back when there wasnt any downgrader for 2.81 and up no one really had a high firmware..
