I often got the error, just switch the kernal it uses (boot into recovery mode it will be somewhere around there)and also some iso's won't work with 3.03, but work with higher versions. Is it only certain iso's or all iso's? If it is all iso's then try the kernal thing, if it is just a few then they made be incapable of running on 3.03OE-A. If you really want to try it, you can upgrade to a higher cf and it MIGHT work. Also make sure what DA said is true^^

Here's a quick rundown:

All PSP's ISO and CSO game file goes in the ISO file [C:PSP/ISO <- in the bolded text]
All PSone games goes into the Game folder [C:PSP/GAME <- in the bolded text]
-----
If you are using the NO-UMD function, try to take the UMD out of its tray when loading up an ISO/CSO.
If you are going to use PSone games and it is not working (freezes at the XMB)... make sure you are not messing around with your opening_plugin.rco file in the flash0 folder. If you are messing around with your opening_plugin.rco file, try to find the original file of opening_plugin.rco.

(if you do not understand what I am talking about.. let me know)

what he said I remember when I first tried to load an iso I had a movie instead of a game and nobody ever mentioned this to me I just keep trying other settings and stuff. That was in the days of devhook though.

What PSPortable said is probably the only info you need. Just repeat with his instructions.
