It needs custom firmware there is now a 3.5 downgrader you should downgrade.

Well its not that much money if you want to be able to do stuff with your psp you are gona need it sorry to say. With out it we can not help you but the best thing you can do is take your psp and throw it at a wall.

Or don't believe what Yunoko tells you. lol Sorry bout that, I forgot to mention the compatible firmwares. Yes you can use iPSP with official 3.50 firmware. All iPSP is, is a portal, or in lamence terms, it's a series of webpages that includes some flash games in it. So yes, if your firmware includes the web browser then you can use iPSP. With 3.50, you should be able to enjoy all of it's features. Maybe except playing music. I'm not sure of PSPTunes's requirements.

Also turn on the conserve memory option.

just remember nothing works with the new sony firmware, i think u can run homebrew on like 2.71 and lower (im not shur)

The firmwares that can fun homebrew are:

1.00 - 1.50 - 2.00 - 2.50 - 2.60 and all custom firmwares

The 2.XX firmware versions require the eLoader (loads games through Grand Theft Auto). It's a tedious way to use homebrew so I'd never consider it. But anyways, iPSP doesn't require homebrew, it's just highly recommended and DarkPacMan77 approved.

Homebrew applications. Anything like the apps you see on the homepage, such as that clock program, or in order to change your xmb icons, or emulators. And a whole bunch of other stuff.

iPSP looks great, but it is a pain. I'm constantly having to empty the cache because the memory keeps filling up.
