This game could not be started error? Please help

Every time I tried to run ISO game in my memory stick this error message will show up. This game could not be started.

I have firmware 3.40 OE-A, and I went to recovery, No-UMD mode was enabled.

So any suggestion? Thank you =D

Disable no umd, and put a umd in the psp and run the game.

To disable no umd, turn off your PSP, turn it back on but while your turning it on hold down the R button.
Then go into configuration.

is it because the game requires a umd to start or its just a common bug in 3.40 oe-a?
cuz i heard from a friend who also has 3.40 oe-a that he can play like burnout without umd.

Well, he probably has his option set to no-umd enabled which allows him to play without a umd. However, the amount of games playable with that option enabled is very low. This is why we suggest disabling the option and throwing a game or game demo umd inside your umd tray. What this does is it tricks the system into thinking that what your playing is coming from the umd itself. Understand?
