Problems with an xmb and possible repairs.

I am running 3.40 OE and I backed up my flash 0 files and went ahead and put a XMB on the flash 0. All went well but was going to try another one and got a bit distracted and just cut all the folders back onto the flash well the flash filled up and the copy stopped. (I cut instead of copied so needless to say my backup should have had a back up....) So the VSH Font and Kn folders got a bit screwy on my back up. At first when i booted up the psp it went to the many languages screen that tells you to hit the O key did that and partial brick. Turned around and put the new vsh font and kn folders back in and it atleast booted. Did a few more things and got the psp fully back running. Is there anyway to fix this and get the original icons back or do i have to get a hold of a backup of someones flash or can i just redo the 3.40 OE firmware install and all will go back to normal. I know this is a bit long winded and a bit confusing so I hope someone can help me with this thanks in advance.

ADD: On one if my games the font is changed there now and is so small and misaligned that it cannot be read. Im guessing that some games use the fonts that the psp uses as its default. The xmb that i put on was machete no problem with xmb just with my blunder.

NM can delete or whatever just bit the bullet and recovered and reflashed 3.40 oe
