cso, common problem?

I'v read other topics for this, doing as the help says, turning of "no-umd" and placing the cso in the iso folder. the game still won't show in the game menu..

i'm running on the new 3,52 m33 custom firmware.
all help will be welcomed with open arms :)

Well I heard the no-umd compatability isn't that very good, it could be a bad iso or you was probably too late when
3.52 m33 was able to be tested or debugged. If no other csos or isos won't work..

Run 1.50 Recovery Winstaller. Recover back to 1.50 and install 3.40OE-A. This is the most stable and has the highest game compatibility. More games run on 3.40OE-A with no errors than on 3.52 M33-2. Wait until they release update 3 for 3.52 before switching back.

3.52 M33 is quite stable, I've been running it on my spare psp without any complications.

Anyways...have you tried any other games? My guess is its just a bad rip. You must remember though if you disable no-umd mode then your going to need to have a game or game demo inserted in your umd tray before starting your homebrew and iso/cso games. Although the no-umd mode enabled works for most of the games on 3.52 m33.

try downgarding to 1.50 then upgrading to Dark~Alex's firmware... if thet dosn't work, it's your psp.

Thats strange that your iso's work but your cso's wont. Not sure of any ways to fix this issue, maybe try recovering to 1.50 and reflashing 3.52 M33... or you can just use the iso version of your game.

Maybe double check you configuration settings...

Mine look like this

Configuration
Skip Sony... Disabled
Hide corrupt... Disabled
Game folder... 1.50 kernel
Autorun program... enabled (you can have yours disabled)
UMD mode... umd required
Fake region... disabled
Free UMD... disabled
Hard reset... disabled

Advanced > Advanced configuration
Plain modules... Disabled
Execute Boot.Bin.... Disabled
Use isofs... Disabled
