BRICKED PSP!!!

Hey guys i need help!
I have a bricked psp 1.50 kernal psp which was 3.40-OEA due to me being a noob and deleting all my flash files lol, So i have no recovery menu.

I recently heard about Pandora's battery, and what i dont get is how to connect memory stick to computer.. solved connected it via a card reader but then while trying to format memory stick on command prompt via mspformat i cant do it, i get this (open error read) message, after i type in Y for yes. This is when im trying to make the 'magic memory stick'. Is it because i am using windows vista?? :(

Another thing i dont get is how i am going to turn on my psp to go to games and execute pandora installer to then make 'jigkik'battery when the psp does not turn on at all??
Does the psp boot of the magic memory stick or something somehow so you can then make your jigkik battery??

Help would be appreciated

I have my brothers psp, it is official fw 3.40 and is locked up in a 3 digit silver box, to hard to crack.(tried all morning lol, trial and errored every digit and it just dnt work) dw ill get that psp sumhow.
So i need to downgrade his psp to 1.50? and i have my sisters computer which is xp, so i can do everything on her computer.

So u need a working homebrew psp to make the jikkick battery?
Could u also tell me how to downgrade fw 3.40?
When u said homebrewed psp is offical fw 1.5 enought or do u need custom fw?

His psp is official fw 3.40, not oe-a. Mine is the bricked 3.40 oe-a. So i just need to downgrade his and then i can make pandora's battery.

Can any1 tell me how to downgrade from 3.40?? :(

you dont really need to set your psp back to 1.50. on any custom firmware just switch the kernal to 1.50 at the recovery menu. also just to be on the safe side make back up folders of your flash folders. one more thing i dont know if newpspdude posted this but there is no downgrader for the 3.40. however, there is downgrader for the 3.50. look at the tut section for the tutorial.
Image I'm rocking Dark-Alex's 3.71m33 firmware with his 1.50 kernel update for the fat psp.............I want a slim now >.<!

I'll also confirm that Vista gives an open error read that I don't know how to solve as of yet.

Hey guys i have a better idea, i was reading the topic under this helpsection called 'flash0 help' and they were talking about reinserting the flash files back into the psp.

I made a whole backup of my flash0 files before it went brick on me, the only problem is i need some kind of recovery menu to access the flash0 folders on the psp, plz tell me this can be done?
Like a bootable recovery menu for OE from a memory stick??
