ahhh , NOOBS

I just got Burnout Dominator iso and I transfered it to the MS but something strange is happening and that is every time I start the game in the loading screen the psp freezes and it won't go back to the menu or even shut down I'm 3.40oe-a
I thought It may be the game but everyone that have tried this game reports that it is working fine.

so what am I doing wrong?

Either try downloading a different iso, check the recovery menu and make sure that the "No umd" option is disabled and that you have a umd in the drive, or just upgrade to 3.52M33.

Just turn off your psp completely (Hold the power button for 5 secs/ until it turns off) and then right when you turn it on hold the r-trig until the recovery menu pops up.

make sure you coldboot and them hold it before you turn it on and keep holding it, if that doesn't work update to another firmware, if that still doesn't work, try something to rewrite your files like formatting flash1 or Pandoras Battey

Well first you need to upgrade to 3.52M33-1. Then you can add the 4th revision to it. What links aren't working?

3 games till now and not any of them is working , I think there is something wrong and I don't know how to formate flash1 and the problem I can't use pandoras cause I don't know anyone who have a 1.5 firmaware psp.
what may cause something like this? I can see the MS led is loading but after a sec it just stops and the screen goes black , and if I pressed the home button it asks me if I would like to go out of the game!!
Is there any thing in the recovery mode that has been disabled or enabled that can cause this?

lol you dont need 1.5 to make pandora's battery with the firmware you have now 3.40oe-a you should be fine so try making that but try these options to

go to recovery mode and then to configuration and make sure these are like mine (if your on 3.52 that is if not just check the ones that apply to you)

1. skip sony logo (currently: Disabled)
2. Hide corrupt icons (currently: Enabled)
3. Game folder homebrew (currently:1.50 kernel (try changing it to 3.52 see and see if it works)
4. Autorun program at /PSP/GAME/BOOT/EBOOT.PBP (currently: Disabled)
5. UMD mode: (currently: Normal -UMD- required-)
6. Fake region (currently: Disabled)
7. Free UMD region (currently: Disabled)
8. Hard Reset on homebrew (currently: Disabled)
9. Use VShMenu (currently: Enabled)
XMB Usb Device (currently: Memory Stick)

some of these have nothing to do with ISO's loading but just to be on the safe side i put them up

also are the files .iso's or cso's if they are iso's try converting them to cso's with UMDGEN4.0 you can get here and also make sure you have a UMD GAME disk inside

if nothing works if may be something internal
