Zipping Genesis Roms

Can all the roms be zipped and still readable by the different emulators? I have zipped all my nes roms and can fit a ton on there, and I know both SNES emulators can read zipped roms, well if anyone knows let me know, otherwise I'm going to try it out on my own. Plus, I was wondering how well the genesis emulators work, because so far I'm very disappointed with the snes roms, as they just run too slow especially for the select games I wanted to play.

To my knowlege, only the snes works with zipped roms, but you could try it out on the others, its not like its gonna break ur psp... As far as genesis emulators go, use DGen at 333mhz and put the frameskip up to around 3 or 4 and you should be set for most of the games. Also use around the same settings and maybe a higher frameskip for snes and most roms should be playable. But, what games did you want to play, some roms just wont run well no matter what you do....
