I'd try installing the 1.50 kernel add-on first, that should solve your problem. If that doesn't, make sure that you installed the homebrew to the correct folder.

Thanks. I think I just realized that I dont have the 1.5 Kernel. Now, I'm a little confused on how to install the Kernel. I've been reading the instructions over and over on the home page but I don't seem to understand. It says "When you have installed the firmware 3.71 m33 and the kernel addon download this file and open MS_ROOT". Aint I trying to install the 1.5 Kernel? Why would it tell me to go on an download something when I have "installed the kernel addon" already? I'm sorry but I'm a little confused.

Also, should I install 3.72 HX-2 first?

There is a 1.50 kernel add-on for both 2.71 m33 and also 3.72 hx-2, so you can install either one of those and use either one of the 1.50 kernel add-ons to get the 1.50 kernel functionality. Since you've found the 3.72 hx-2 add-on, maybe it would be best to just check that out first.

Not working for me.

After I get to the update screen, I get an error "The Memory Stick could not be read. If you cancel, you may not be able to start the PSP system. Check that the Memory Stick is correctly inserted, and then press the x button. (80010005)

So I'm staying with the M33 firmware. I installed the 1.50 kernel properly from what I could tell, I followed all the directions correctly, but I still cannot play the emulators from the brew back. It gives the usual "game cannot be started" error. Any help ??

not too familiar with 3.71 m33 but try accessing your recovery and checking to see if kernel is set to 1.50 and check to see that no-umd is disabled, then throw any game or game demo disc into your umd tray and try to run your emulators.

Thanks staxx. Everything works now. I also enabled Game folder homebrew under the 1.50 kernel. I didn't see this option before.

So are you running your emulators through your 'GAME' folder or 'GAME150' folder? You should be able to put your emulators in your 'GAME150' folder without messing with the kernel setting.

I was putting them in the GAME folder. That's probably where I was going wrong come to think of it. What goes in the GAME and the GAME371 folders then? Do the PSX iso's go in the GAME371 folder?

The GAME folder is represented by the kernel setting in Recovery Mode. The GAME150 folder is always the 1.50 kernel folder. GAME371 is always set at the 3.71 kernel setting. I keep my kernel setting at 3.52 (since im at 3.52 m33) for the GAME folder, and I stick my PSX games in there and they work fine. So maybe if you stick your PSX games in your GAME371 they should work.

Great, I'll try that then. Thanks
One other quick question, I'm sorry if I'm asking it in the wrong section. But, I got Final Fantasy 7 but it came in 3 different folders (3 different CDS) and as eboots, not iso's.
Can these still be played and put into the 371 folder or do I have to do something else with them? If it's to much trouble, id appreciate it if someone can point me in the direction of a full FF7 iso.

Well im not sure what all firmwares can play PSX EBOOTS, but I know that you can play the ISOs on any firmware. The 3 folders, 3 EBOOTS represent the 3 CDs of the game. Just make a folder named 'Final Fantasy 7' and put the EBOOT file in there, then put that folder in GAME371.
