I'm new to the whole homebrew scene, so I don't know my terms, but is this basically a way for people with a 3.72 slim to get homebrew running on the system? If so, is there anyone who can re-upload it?

nope... you need pandora. look in the tutorials section to learn how to install a custom firmware.
