ok.U have a number of options but I have three:

1.Once you have your two folders (without % and with % folders)
heres what i want you to do:

For the folder without the percent sign name it to this:

XXXXXX 1

(the X symbols stand for letters of ur emulator. So in this case replace the X to VBAPSP if u want.U can name it anything u want jut make sure it has 6 letters.

For the folder with the percent sign name it to this:
XXXXXX~1%

Again the X symbols stand for letters.

2.Your second option is to go to the psp brew pack generator and before u checkmark anything look up top and click hide corrupted data files.Note this will not work for all emulators.Press generate and put it on your psp.

well thats what I got for ya.Hope that helped!

your rom needs to be named something specific... look at the files within the generated folder... it says in there somewhere.

After much trying and failing

I was having the same problem Geo was describing. I tried the suggestions made by Mailas with no luck. But using the information in his first and last posts I figured out what I was doing wrong.

Mailias said in the directory that is created it tells you what to name the ROM files, and he was right.
There is a file called
"insert rom.gba here"

So I renamed my ROM file "rom.gba" and now it works.

So just take whatever game rom file you get. (ex. AdvancedWars2BlackHoleRising.gba)
Rename that file to "rom.gba"
Then copy it to the VBAPSP directory on your memory card.

Hope this helps.

So I guess this means that I can only have one rom on there at a time?

Maybe it is case sensitive????

Yes so far I have only been able to load one rom at a time, but I I have tried several roms using this method from a variety of sources.

Just as a side note--There is more than one version of VBA PSP out there. A google search rewarded me with three different versions.
