so no gba emu then? thats ok, ive got that covers on my ez-flash 3-in-1 and my cyclods evolution for my nds.

so are 1.0fw hombrew games able to be played on a slim? like "pong +" (the best homebrew game imo)

oh and is there doom for slim?

those would be the only ones i want.

i'd try myself but my friend want at school to sell me his psp today...

Well, buddy. The last of build of gpSP had everything on it there really isn't anything to add to gpSP so I wouldn't say that there isn't a GBA Emu for PSP just that there wont be any more releases(From what I can tell)

AdventWolf wrote:You can do teh exact same thing with a slim with Custom Firmware probably 3.70 to 3.90 is where you wanna be. The only thing you will be missing is you cannot run 1.50 homebrew apps on the slim, well there are E- Loaders that will allow you to run some 1.50 homebrew. However, most popular homebrew and emulators have been switched over to be playable on the slim as well using the 3.XX kernel. You would only be missing out on old homebrew apps. The slims don't have the iR ports either, but the slim has twice the ram (64 MB)

@Th0m4svu:

To start from scratch:
You have an Official Firmware PSP. Once you use the "Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick" (Simply a modded battery and memory stick) you can install a Custom Firmware on your PSP. This will allow you to play homebrew and game backups and allow you to customize your psp with themes and stuff. To use the Battery and Memory Stick you just stick them both in the psp, and you will need to hold the 'L' button at certain points when you stick the stuff in your psp. Once you do that a menu will load and you can chose to automatically install Custom Firmware, once it finishes installing or w/e you want to do, you take the battery and memory stick out and put a separate set in and you are set on Custom Firmware. You can also revert the battery back to normal by using one of the pandora tools for the psp. You only have to format your memory stick to get all the pandora stuff off.

You will most likely need to make the items yourself using one of the several tutorials in the tutorial section or preferably buy them to save yourself the time and hassle. Someone posted a link for a cheap set earlier. It shouldn't cost more than $35. Very cheap.

Im guessing we NEVER talk about official firmwares so when you say 3.9 you mean custom firmware and not official. and them two are on their totally seperate tracks right?

another thing.. where did you see the link for battery and stick? i have a 4 gig stick already. and plan on getting a new battery for extended life. old psp's and new psps use the same battery but the old ones have more power right? and if i were to use the old battery on my psp i would need a newer bigger cover in the back? and should i trust these aftermarket batteries? dont want anything exploding ya know.

another thing...since the original batter is 1200 mAh how the hell does a 3600mAh last two times longer? it makes no damn sense.

1200 x 3 = 3600... therefore 3x longer. what kind of engineering is this! and no i have no knowledge about Watts and voltage and such cuz im too lazy to learn about it. -_- scientists...

Certain firmware have more compatibility and stability than others. The older firmwares have more customizable abilities. The new firmwares can play the really new games.

Hmm my gpSP works on my slim 3.90 m33-3.
Phat 3.71->pandora 1.50->3.90 m33 (Sold on Ebay, suckers)
Slim 3.71->semi-brick->Nand Recovery->DCv3->3.71->3.80 m33-2->3.90 m33-3->4.01 m33-2
Want cintro for 4.01 m33? get cintro_390and Autostart_V4.zip, just follow the readme.
