one of the best two rpgs for the snes, both realtime:

1) Star Ocean (same game series as star ocean III, no relavence in timeline though)
Great game, and just like every star ocean game, this has to do with people who have advanced technology come to a planet with lower technology and a higher archy trying to do some evil plan.. etc etc LOL it even has voice acting, but the into movie when you start a new game is stupid..

2) Tales of Phantasia
Sequal to tales of symphonia, a must see. Great combat, story, and pretty much everything you see in the snes game is in the gamecube one.. except different characters, and a timeline 1000 years after ToS

I dont see why so many people are in love with chrono trigger.. but, thats just me :?

Have you tried upping the cpu speed to 333mhz and change the frame skip to 1?

Hmm thats funny I couldn't make Mario RPG run very good. All the other games run fine. Mortal Kombat 3 runs pretty slow.
