psp298 has released a new GBA (Game Boy Advance) emulator for the PSP called PSPGBA, version 1.0. The Game Boy Advance (GBA) is a handheld videogame console developed, manufactured and marketed by Nintendo. It is one of the latest in the Game Boy series of consoles, and the successor to the popular Game Boy Color. psp298 writes about it: “

PSPGBA is a GBA emulator for PSP with GUI for game management like RIN and optimized for speed. Although not 100% as fast as GBA but with playable speed for some of the games.”

You can get it in our PSP Download section [http://files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,42,1568], or a direct link [http://pspupdates.qj.net/PSPGBA_1017.rar].

lol I'm nearly 22, I played the original pokemon blue and red on regular 1989 gameboy and I still would probably enjoy the newer pokemon games even though I'd be completely lost about any numbers above 151 lmao. Point is I'm a gamer first and a good game is a good game.

It says that it doesn't go that fast. But for some games though, it goes quite smooth.

-So a striaght answer would be: Not That Fast.

That I do not know because:

a) I haven't tried out the emulator out myself
b)I haven't read much into it.

But I know that some games work good for it, is because on the article it said so. So if you want, you can research which games work good on it, but i don't really know myself, sorry budd, but I can't really help you out at this stage.

actually castlevania aria of sorrow runs pretty smoothly with a little bit of lag because of the speed issues i guess if some1 could check out the other castlevanias that would be great.......btw i guess due to the slowness theres no reason for pokemon games just play the cart.........now i have to walk around with two systems in my pocket......WAH
