2.60...Hacked!

sounds cool... and i hope that more and more homebrew will be available on the 2.xs.. this has been an awesome week for homebrew on the 2.xs....

I know, This is so cool. But I think for me, I'm gonna stick with my 2.00 for now, and if so, I'll downgrade. I won't move anywhere else. Just 2.00 and 1.50.

yeah that's what i'm sticking to too.. 1.5 and 2.0 for life!!!

IS there a way of telling with the firmware is before buying it? I'd like to downgrade to 2.0 and 1.5 because those look like the sucessful versions. Esentially what I want from my PSP is to watch WMV,ASF,AVI clips from my PSP and to play mp3s for now. Maybe some games, but I want that option thats why I want a PSP instead of an ipod.

Yes, on the side of the box near the barcode should be a letter. Any letter that is F or below will allow you to run homebrew(at a great rate)!

yeah homebrew is trickling into the 2.x series but ISOs are still cursed to remain at 1.5 and the new isos jus cant be played. hackers will have to move on to the 2.x series soon pstation... then you'll have to move there too aight?

hey i got firmware 2.6 can some one make a downgrader for it because i am poor after buying my psp and i cant get any game for it. so if i had 2.0 or 1.5 i could run the snes emulator

ha ha poor thingy doesnt count if you own a psp. and no way theres no downgrader for the 2.0+ series. You can hoever play snes on 2.60 (i think) but ull need the GTA UMD man... go buy that.

way to revive a redundant thread... besides 2.60 is almost as good as 1.5 far as emu is concerned but only ISOs are not there yet... as for hb without gta i think we'll just have to wait for 3.0
