Unable to play "Football Manager Handheld" UMD on

I have brought the UMD game of "football manager handheld" for my PSP

Unfortunatly it requires me to upgrade to version 2.6! I really dont want to upgrade!

Is there any way i can play it?

"i have aready got fastloader on my PSP with flash files for v2.5, so that i can play other original games, is there any such thing as flash files v2.6?"

ooh i didnt understand you no you dont have to update you need to run UMD Launcher somewhere in psp brew oh wait heres link http://www.pspbrew.com/?page=downloads& ... nfo&d=1037 run that and you dont have to update if the game is a 2.7 update do not use with this because this supports 2.6 (correct if wrong) but the instructions are under description

emma, there are several ways to load a game, Ill check which ones are working for football manager, and then get back to you.

EDIT: I checked, it looks like it works with DAX zISO, so get that from the PackGen and PM me about the flash files.

Sorry to hijack but I have exactly the same problem. Running 1.5 but have football manager on UMD. I've got DAX zISO but whenever I select run from UMD nothing happens. WHat else do I need to do?

Help a noob out pretty please !!

i suggest changing the prx files from a 2.o game thats what i do with all 2.6 games it makes them run for me download UMDGen from psp-hacks.com and then load iso with that goto PSP_GAME/SYS_DIR/MODULES and replace all prx files from a game that does load works most of the time

Still no joy.

emma told me she got it working using genesis 2.6. Dowloaded and installed it (with the supplied x folder in the root). When I run genesis I select O so it does it's extraction thingy. Then press X when prompted and my psp waits 5 seconds and then turns itself off. Anyone know why that might happen?

I've tried a couple of different memory cards and I'm sure I'm putting the folders in the right place. Perhaps it's the supplied x folder. Does anyone have a link to a working one I could use?

So frustrating cos the shiny UMD is just sitting here laughing at me. Swine!

Thanks again to emma for a sterling effort in helping me out though.

What's the best app to use to do that? Also, any idea how much space it's gonna take up?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am total PSP noob.
