This is a pack full of things you need to "Make your PSP as 1337 as mine" in the words of RaidenX.

To install most programs(other than PSPMoz and the PC apps) place folders in X:/PSP/GAME

Now I will run through the important apps and or files with you:

1)2.5/2.6 Downgrader:
This software is free, and i'm not responsable if it causes damages to your psp.
If you use this software, you agree that you are using this program at your own risk and that you
won't blame the author for that.

"Someone told me that a downgrader for 2.50/2.60 was impossible. How does this work?"

This one uses another more risked technique (and i repeat: untested) than the mph downgrader.
It uses some sony libraries found in the 1.50 updater to perform the most critical steps,
the logical format of the flash, and the ipl writing. See technical details for more info
about how it works.

This software requires that someone with a 1.50 runs a little program and send you the output so
you can init the downdate process. (by legal reasons i cannot provide those files directly, that's why
this is needed).
The 1.50 program is TOTALLY safe, it only dumps the flash of a 1.50 user and it also extracts some special
prx's found in the 1.50 updater.

Instruction for the 1.50 user
-----------------------------

1) Copy the folders downhelper and downhelper% from the folder 1.50 HELPER folder to
/PSP/GAME/ in your memstick.

2) Obtain the 1.50 updater and put it in /PSP/GAME/UPDATE in your memstick.

3) Init the downhelper program.
It will dump your flash and some files from the updater eboot to the memstick.

4) After that, the program will exit. You can now delete the updater from /PSP/GAME/UPDATE

5) You'll notice that you have a new folder in the root of your memstick called "DOWNDATER".
That's the folder you'll have to send to a 2.50/2.60 to let him test the downgrade.



Instructions for the 2.50/2.60 user
-----------------------------------

1) Copy the folder the DOWNGRADER/2.50/DOWNDATERTEST if you have 2.50
or DOWNGRADER/2.60/DOWNDATERTEST if you have 2.60 to /PSP/GAME/ in your memstick

2) Wait someone with 1.50 to pass you a folder called DOWNDATER and copy it to the root of your memstick.

3) Init gta and the eLoader

4) Connect your psp to the AC adaptor

5) In the eLoader menu, choose the downdater test. WARNING: the program won't output any display
and any warnings, it will init the downgrader process inmediatelly.

6) You'll see the your memstick flashing. That means that your psp is being flashed from the memstick.
You won't see any type of output in the screen (this is for safety). When the memstick finishes of
flashing, the psp should reinit and you'll have probably a 1.50.
It will probably say you "Cannot read disc". Don't worry about that, this is because the umd device
is not resetted properly. Simply restart the psp manually and solved.

7) That's all. If all went right, you'll have 1.50. If it went less good, you'll still have
2.50/2.60. If all went wrong, you'll have a bricked psp(except in the case you have
the modchip) Remember that you have accepted that risk.


Other considerations:

- Users with TA-082 psp's shouldn try this.

Technical details
------------------

This program performs the following operations.

- It loads the ipl_update.prx and lflash_fatfmt.prx from the 1.50 updater.

- It performs a logical format of the flash0 partition using the function
sceLflashFatfmtStartFatfmt found in the lflash_fatfmt.prx

UPDATE (0.5): now it doesn't use the logical format. It was one of the causes that make this
not to work.

- It writes a dump of the 1.50 flash0 to the flash0.

- It writes the Initial Program Loader (Ipl) using the functions sceIplUpdateClearIpl
and sceIplUpdateSetIpl from the ipl_update.prx module. The ipl is embedded in that module.

UPDATE FINAL: - Checks if the AC is plugged in
- Does not create logs, allow 32MB memory stick users to downgrade

UPDATE FINAL AUTOCHECK : - Checks if your fimware revision is either 2.50 or 2.60,
Only requires a single EBOOT for both firmwares.

2)X-Flash: This is a very cool app that flashes "tweaks" to your PSP'S flash drive. Right of the bat a warning: THIS APP HAS THE ABILITY TO BRICK YOUR PSP!!!!! USE THIS APPLICATION WITH CAUTION!!!! Okay,with that out of the way lets get started! This amazing application can do some pretty amazing things:
1.Apply the debranded intro screen/Gameboot Screen-This removes the "Sony Computer Entertainment" text from the opening bootup, it now removes the ugly grey PSP logo from the gameboots.
2.Apply alternate sound effect-With this option you can change both the "error" sound effect and the "coldboot" sound with things such as game buzzers and even homer simpson!
3.Toggle network update compatability-By using this you can toggle the effectiveness of the "Network Update" option on your XMB interface so that you don't accidentaly update, never give in!
4.Toggle XMB menu wave effect- you can now take off the annoying "wave" or "asura" effect in the XMB background!
5.Replace background- Using this you can replace your background or backgrounds from the regulat monthly colors to black, for that dark side of you...
6.Install custom font-Tired of that bland old font? Well,then use this to give your PSP some style, you can find new fonts at qj.net
7.Apply custom XMB menu label-This option can change the "game" text under the picture.
8.Change game boot intro-For anyone who is tired of the weird green balls whenever you use your PSP, this can change that in an instant!
9.Apply firmware version spoof-This cool option can change your psp verion from 1.50 to anything from 1.00 to 9.99
10.Apply firmware 13.37 verion spoof-This changes your firmware to as 1337 as it can be!
11.Perform complete firmware dump-Be sure to make a backup of your firmware just in case...
12.Perform registry restore/backup-Good thing you backed up your files eh?

3)PSPMoz/PSPMozULTRA:This is a bit of a different, this is an mp3 file that you play that wil actually repel female mosquitos(because the females are the ones that bite)! What it does is uses the PSP speakers to emulate the sound of the male mosquito, this will repel the the female unless it is mating season for the female mosquito...

Please note that all these applications (other than the the 2.5/2.6 listed files) and such are for Firmware 1.50 ONLY,please do not try to use these with 1.51,1.52,2.00,2.01,2.50,2.60,2.70,2.71, and 2.80
