How to play homebrew on 2.01 or downgrade to 1.5

Hi, one of my inlaws has a PSP 2.01 that he'd like to play homebrew on (mainly NES games). Can someone tell me the easiest way to do this. Is there a way to do with 2.01 or how to downgrade to 1.5

Thanks!!!

There is a downgrader for 2.01, but I reccomend upgrading to 2.71, and installing the SE-B firmware.
You just put the folder from you're homebrew on and voila, no errors, nothing! Its playable :D

thanks, I'm been out of the PSP scene for awhile for this is helpful to know. Since its my inlaws PSP, probably the lowest risk solution would be the way to go. If you can guide me to which one is easier/less risky, that would be helpful. I have my own PSP which is 1.5 so maybe I'll try 2.71 se-b on that one.

thanks again for the help
