Any applications play streaming video?

I'm sure you're all familiar with internet TV and such, and I was wondering if there are any applications capable of playing streaming video. To clear any misunderstandings up, I don't mean streaming from the computer, I mean genuine streaming over the internets.

All I know of is the LocationFree thing from Sony. Or im sure there is a software program for watching tv from your computer if your computer has a tv tuner of some sort. Where else would you stream tv from?

Yea no s**t sherlock. I thought you meant live tv, not like any videos from a certain channel. You mean like the weather forcast but off the tv that you can watch. Wouldn't it be better to watch live tv on your psp then videos off a website from a certain channel or such?

That's not the point of my question. I don't care what you're streaming: sports, news, child porn, whatever.

I'm just wondering if there's an application that will play a live NSV stream or something of the like.
