Downgrade 2.80 PSP to 1.50 without GTA?

I need to downgrade 2.80 PSP to 1.50 and I do not have a copy of GTA.
I downloaded 2.80_-_EASY_Downgrader_0.1.zip but it is in German and
since it is a friends I DO NOT WANT TO BRICK IT!! I am 10 for 10 in
downgrading and do no want to break my streak!! The unit is not a TA-082.

I found some english instructions but when I went to run it it said the PSP was
not TA69-TA81, but the only writing I see says IC6001? This is the same thing
on 2 other PSPs I have access to review.

Any suggestions?

Just skip step 4(hint, you always use idstorage for ta-82 mb's, but if you have a non 82 mb, skip the idstorage steps) and it should work.
It was like the 3rd tutorial listed int he tutorial section :p

Long day for me!!

I am trying to run the upgrade and have lost count how many times I have tried to open the Hen folder
under Photos and the PSP crashes or locks up!! TIFF upgrades SUCK but better than the alternative!!
