Odd Behavoir in 3.40 OE-A

So, I noticed one day that I had "PSP Spot" and "Portable TV" under my NETWORK tab in the PSPs main screen. Those are now gone for who knows what reason. Any clue as to why these appeared and pulled a Hudini?

ok its either 2 things

1. under recovery mode you had japan as your fake region and changed it (this causes the psp to think it is in japan giving you the 2 other features since you changed it its now gone)

2. you flashed a new theme to your psp and they hardly ever support those functions on the psp

Thats the thing, I never had the fake region enabled. It was preset to Europe, for some reason, and in order for me to play Daxter, I have to disable fake region. I turned it back on and set it to Japan, and they came back, so that answers that question, but, whatever. More stuff for me that a ton of others won't have. I just wish I could read Japanese fluently...

There's another thread mentioning those 2 icons in general chat... but the TV one is just a place to BUY stupid psp videos. Most of them are Japanese idol girls in bikini's or whatnot, and they cost about $4 US each (well, ￥400). Knowing Japanese is wasted on those. lol
