Router Problems

Anyone good with wireless routers? I have Tomato installed (have had it installed for over a year now) and am just getting tired of one issue-

Every few days it decides to act up. My SSID is "Wireless". When connected to it I either get "Wireless" I get internet or "wireless 2 (that 2 is usual, but it has been other numbers)" I am not able to connect to the internet, which then i have to disconnect and reconnect till it works again (connects back to wireless)

It may be a problem with my IP adress not renewing each time.

Ace- You can change the SSID yourself anytime you want.

Punch- Iv changed my routers name to BKF and it will still go BKF 2 sometimes.

Yes you can change you SSID, but what Ace means it shouldnt change ITSELF.
Im not sure how i can help.
Thanks, Alex. I have a wireless router. and it should only change SSID if you change it yourself, or you reset it to factory settings.
Thanks, Alex.
Being redone
