IF you have been on live since September you can't get any of the above link to work. IF you didn't go on live and had a recent new title say "Tekken" update your console you can't get the above to work.

So if this applies to you then you have to wait for someone clever to post another fix and bail you out.

I suspect by then the Xbox 720 will be out.

I have a friend who's 360 hasnt been on live. ever.

To me it seems that Microsoft... err... Macroscam... yeah, sounds better. Anyways, seems like Macroscam is vandalizing about 5% of their consumer base... not "protecting" them OR their company. Ban from live, sure, but they're just jacking their stuff up.

i like micro$cam( i mean the idea of the name i personaly hate the company) tbh, but on the basis you loose everything they basicly f up your xbox and deallow it to be ablee to play games off the same HDD is a vialation i personaly think, banning someone from live is fair, completly doing all that stuff isn't.

Keep in mind that Macro means VERY large, and Micro means VERY little.

Sorry que You said supposedly, which makes it sound like you weren't sure, so I wanted to just point of the facts.

Also its very easy to fix RROD, dirty disc error, tray not ejecting, stuff like that dpm. Only thing you can't fix is a banned console if you have recently played on xbox live on it

Also if you are playing Modern Warfare 2 you have the new dash regardless of whether or not you go on live.

Well any wave 4 game you have to update your console to play it. Wave 4 games are like Tekken 6, Assassin's Creed 2 (amazing game, it's really fun), MW2, Cars, and that's what I can name off the top of my head right now. That and any new games coming out now are more then likely wave 4 games.

dont those games already have update data ON them?
