ive been using limewire for ever so long, havent caught a virus yet.

I now Kazaa Lite can be configured that if files have certain extentions (even fake extensions like .mpg.avi or mpg.vbs it will ignore them. You just need to add more extensions that can be "masked" as real files only to be viruses. Don't trust anything that is zipped. That's all I can tell ya.

Never know, I guess its a 50/50 chance.

I've downloaded files off of limewire to find an unrelated .exe file on my desktop next to the downloaded file. Luckily with a mac all you do is drag it to the trash as executables cant just run. Id be careful using any P2P or torrent site if youre running windows.
