changing the entire pspbrew logo

Hey, check this one out. I realized that my photo program is too old to make a transparent back, so I made it the hard way. It will LOOK perfectly transparent at least.



You can tell that the gray color is different in the thread, but it is the same color as the top of the page. I took a screenshot/ imported the color They are just two slightly different shades of gray, so don't be turned off by how it looks on the thread.

that's a hot logo.
i like that one a lot.
but maybe some other shades would be nic einstead of plain black and white..
and you can still put some color in, just make sure it fits in with the
site's background.

and the html code for the site is easy dude
just right clock and choose "view page source" and
there ya go!! lol

I don't think it needs a red stripe. I know a lot of html, and I know this is coded in punbb or w/e, but I know that the image on the top of the screen is a small rectangle that is stretched (left to right) which makes the red stripe/ white top layer.

The psp brew logo looks like it is just sitting on top of it. And hey, changing that top layer with the red stripe would be easy/ look tons better as well.

I am glad that you guys like my logo. I am using a really old photo program, so even the smallest things are hard, but I will have access to a good program in 2 days, so if you guys hang with me, I will see what I can provide

Kinda what I thought, most things you stretch go across the entire screen (or just from how many pixels you enter)
but doesnt the images overlap the coding? As in, the white background would overlap the red stripe.

Sure, I could add some other colors. I think that last one was my best (I have about 10 different ones).

Anyways, you guys could recommend colors to me and I can see what I can do...

that is the "background" for the top of the pspbrew page. It is probably stretched by % (100%) instead of pixel, but yea. It seems to not affect the logo whatsoever **edit below**

I will have made a newer logo by tomorrow night. My girlfriend is coming over tomorrow so I probably won't have many different ones. I will probably combine the two logos. Keep the design of the black one, but add the blue color scheme from the first one... and hey, then I would consider it worthy of being on the front page and worthy of suggesting it to monkeymaximus.

I am pretty sure that it isn't a linear gradient on the top BG... , but yes, I do see now that the red stripe is included. I will add that to my new one for tomorrow.

**EDIT2**I decided to do some laundry, so I just made a new logo with my spare time. What do you guys think this time?

the theme of the site is white, grey, and blue, with a hint of red
the new logo that DarkPacMan was showing is black
and it would stand out wayyy tooo much

I have made two new logos.

One is a black version, which looks awesome, but doesn't match the site so much.

The second one is made to match the blue/ gray look better, and even has the red stripe in there.

I think that either one makes this site look better from the outside.

the blue one is veryu nice, but it just ends at the bottom with no curve or fading of any sort which would make the logo look constricted and boxed in.

yeah, that's a good idea;
try fading it at the bottom.

and also, we shouldn't be making new logos just yet
we still haven't gotten the consent from MonkeyM.

I have talked to monkey about it. He says that we should wait to make a new logo until graphixbrew picks up a little bit more. However, if one of us makes something that we really like... then we could have a better chance at convincing a change.

I will try to fade out the bottom of that picture... keep in mind though... that it is hard for me to do lol

I think I will not fade the "psp" logo though, I will leave it solid so that it looks more bold.
