smash brothers

I recently got this homebrew game for the PSP. Its supposed to play the game smash brothers. It shows the icon to play it but when i try to run it it says that the data is corrupted.
what can i do to fix this problem?

My firmware versiion is 3.71 and my psp is the fat psp.

3.71 M33? or the sony firmware 3.71?

yea im having the same problem. im running m33-2 3.71 on my psp slim.

1) does teh game require 1.50 firmware?

2) you have the 1.50 addon?

3) if you do, put the homebrew game in the 'GAME150' folder. Im guessing.

i tried doing the 1.50 kernel update, but it wont let me, it says that the update is only for the regular psp.

iono... i was kinda hoping that i could run it like the snes emulator that just recently came out..

since the psp slim wont allow homebrew runs for some reason or another, iono

I thought there was a 1.50 addon for the slim psp? I know there's one for the phat psp but not sure about the slim.

ya, i think there is, he'll need to get that in order to play the game.

Nope. So far 1.50 addon is ONLY for Fat. Stupid sony made 1.50 uncompatible with Slim......BUT there is hope. Remember when DAX made that little addon that allowed 1.50 screen on slim? Well there is talk he might be making a 1.50 addon for slim.

So in short answer, you cant play ANY 1.50 kernal homebrew on a slim........yet.

If the OP is talking about that Smash Pack game, it ONLY works on fw 1.50.
