UMD Movie status after downgrading

If I downgrade from V2.0 to V1.5 will I be able to watch UMD movies regargless of region code? My PSP was originally V1.51 and bought in the USA.

abosolutley. region code has nothing to do with watching UMDs. however, u might have some difficulties running the movie because tehre was one guy on here earlier who downgraded, and was no longer able to run movies.
but other than tghat u are okay to watch movies

I'm new to PSP's so forgive my ignorance but what's the difference between watching UMD's and running them?

That was me who had trouble,

I downgraded from v2.0 to 1.50 and now cannot view ANY umd films. Version changers and umd emulators DO NOT WORK either.

So take that on board before downgrading, if i want to watch a umd film I have to upgrade to v2.0 to watch it.

anyways if you downgrade, you might have some problems like violater did... but other than that
ur PSP should be okay because it is made in the US.

actually, there are no psp's that are made in the US. Its all made by sony, and just recently, sony sought help from some company in Taiwan to produce more psp's.

lol well, anyway just as long as its like north american...not nesacarily MADE in north america

wierd, because nothing like this has happened to me. and I don't think it ever will...unless i upgrade and downgrade millions of times.
