It's funny because it is true.

Not to get too political but the Romans used to do the same thing in their day, distract the populace from what was really going on with games or some scandal. I see the same thing going on in America with March Maddness for example and the issue of the governor cheating on his wife.

I am amazed at how much people know about sports or celebrities and how little they know about history or even about how their country is run.

With that said you can't believe everything you hear or read. I read somwhere that George W turns into a reptilian at night and that holographic missles disguised as jetliners hit the towers and the pentagon. These are extreme examples but there are many more convincing examples out there of stories that simply have no merit. That is why I insist on reminding everyone to use their own judgement and not to allow anyone to make your opinion for you.

Oil is a very useful tool to our survival as a nation. If we didn't have anymore oil we would go down the crapper until we became energy independent. The government can't control all of what our oil price is, it is a necessity and a crutch to our society. How can you say that because there is such a thing as AIDS that it is the governments doing and they are trying to kill us. The government didn't make AIDS lol.

It seems like all major and deadly diseases start in Africa and i find that weird.
