Not sure, their last few console/portables have always been different that the competitors. The GC had the small disk and funky controller >_>. The DS has the stylus and touch screen thingy. And the Wii is the Wii. Not sure when they are going to make a regular next gen console.

Dude, DS and Wii are the only "TRUE" next-gen consoles.

And also, the NDS has better homebrew(in some cases) than the PSP. Example? SNES emulators have mouse support for Mario Paint™, and the GBA™ emulator works a lot better

the biggest problem nintendo has is they still think kids are their main target audience which they aren't really anymore, what they should do is target a teen audience because little kids think everything teenagers do is cool therefore they'd be killing 2 birds with one stone, but nintendo has yet to realize this

they also need to focus less on innovation and more on the games, example red steel

Yeah I left out the full speed N64 emulator, and before you say R13 has full speed emulation DS has it w/o the crappy(sometimes zombie-ish looking graphics)

I know you said HOMEBREW I was just saying that the PSP had better/full-speed SNES and GBA emulation and most other emulators (NES, VMU, GB, GBC, Genesis, Coleco, MAME, Atari 2600... etc...) are full speed. The DS and N64 emulators for PSP suck donkey.
And you should probably remove the Excite Truck, Marble Maddness, and the "Need I go on?" part because that makes other people assume that there are actually more games out for the Wii that are good.

psh, i said "regular" next gen console. Not fruity little sensor bar console. The ds is a handheld so its not a next gen console. the psp is quite next gen since the graphics have exceeded that of any handheld before its time. The same with the ps3, it has the best graphics so far and it has the most power so far i guess. The Wii disappointed me, i convinced a couple of friends to buy Wiis when I got one, but they are regretting it as well. But I am looking forward to a regular next gen console by nintendo but it seems wierd, most of their games aren't all hardcore, they are mainly for a younger crowd. But SSB and SMG look tite.

yea, I saw this one picture of a guy playing CoD3 on the Wii and he held it like a gun, that also made me buy a Wii, it looked awesome. But the game wasn't all that great.

Got that right. 25 years of fans is being thrown out for the newer stupid kid gamers(if you were born after 1996 thats you)

All the little kids I know go nuts for the Wii lol. Once they get about 7-8th grade or so they start to get into more hardcore stuff.

yeah I got the wii since it was the cheapest... I miss my fav playstation series though. PS3 was too darn expensive though.

I recently bought mortal kombat armageddon for the wii... I don't recommend it unless you have a classic controller or like gamecube controllers, the whole 'motion-detection' thing was a little misleading, they could've done a lot better, but in the end I wish I had gotten the ps2 version.

I kind of thought that the older games would be free on the wii, don't ask me why, that's just what I thought. As it is, they are way overpriced, and nintendo is making a killing off of the gamers in all areas. (wii-mote and nunchuck seperately? are you serious?) not to mention they make a profit on every wii they ship out, which is completely reversed i think for either the ps2 or the ps3... don't remember which. Honestly...

I tried the MK game for the Wii as well, the controls were whack. I didn't have a classic controller or GC controller at the time to use. But yea $10 for a N64 game is too much. It would have been cool if you could download game boy and gba games to play on the Wii.
