I hate vans. Lol, I don't it doesn't matter, don't to get all stereotypical but I remember back in middle school we would call this guy a "poser" because he wore vans and didn't skateboard. Actually he is the one that made fun of us, then he wore vans so yea. I dunno know just thought of that when you said vans are the best. Actually I'd probably whether wear my boots that I work in because they are more comfortable then my thin etnies sole :p I just don't see why people like vans shoes though.

That and anyone here ever noticed that on all the etnies that say non-slip grip, they really aren't non-slip? I mean, they are pretty slippery if you ask me.

I guess its because they don't slip on skate boards.

Skinks, Bearcats, Noskool, Old Skool. I love em. Though the old skool Hi aren't very durable and after a few pop-shuvits and kickflips they couldn't be worn any more .

Why does everyone here dis on Vans? For real? Did they call your mother nasty names or something? - have you guys ever WORN them? They're EXCELLENT shoes especially if you plan on being outdoors. They have tons of padding around the ankle and the soles are very hard to wear out from street use.

If you guys don't like Vans because skaters tend to like them... I think that's a stupid thing to do. None of you should ever let a stereotype tell you what's right and wrong.

Well there we go, now all of the Vans people start to speak out geez. I own some Vans too and they're my favorite pair of shoes. I also own some shoes I found in my backyard... idk where they came from lol, and some Nike Cross Trainers from before I started 8th grade... and I'm 19 and graduated from high school now, so that should show that I just don't stop wearing shoes lol. Here's a picture that should give you an idea of how crappy my Nike shoes are now... that I still wear.



As you can see, one shoe has the bottom halfway off. The shoe laces are old Nintendo ones (shoes have gone through 8-10 pairs of laces). You can't see it but there are at least 3 holes on each shoe in different areas. The bottoms are so worn out that they're smooth, and oh yea, let's not forget the white sh*t that grows on the sides lol.
