Sushi Rubik v1.2: Virtual Rubik’s Cube

Has anyone here heard of this new homebrew? I just installed it on my GAME150 folder on my fat PSP 3.90 M33-2. I am having difficulty figuring out how to rotate the top (yellow) to the bottom (orange) like switch them around so I can complete solving the puzzle. If you guys can figure it out, I would be in debt. I think it's suppose to work, but somehow it doesn't. You tell me.

Team Sushi has released a smooth-runnin’ homebrew rendition of a virtual Rubik’s Cube for the PSP.

For whatever reason you’re unfamiliar with the classic “Rubik’s Cube” game; here’s the quick ‘n dirty… A standard 3×3x3 cube has 9 colours for each of its 6 faces. The puzzle is solved when you have each face one solid colour.

Have fun figuring it out. Kudos on the release, Team Sushi.

Features:
  • 3×3×3 classic Rubik’s Cube simulator
  • default controls can update all but back face without rotating, with two alternate sets of controls.
  • undo/redo all moves
  • save/load current cube in progress
  • timed challenge from a scrambled cube, and freestyle solving modes
  • recorded high scores for timed challenge, compare with your best time
  • beginners solution style autosolve
  • 4 visualizations of cube state for a background
  • estimate of moves remaining for a beginner’s solution
  • animated rotations
  • works in French or English

Update
They are working on a solution on how to rotate the cube so the bottom can be on top and visa versa click here for more details. I was able to just do a workaround to rotating the cube, I simply flip upside down the PSP, I know the controls are a bit akward when you do this, but as long as you solve the orange side first, and then flip around the PSP, you can continue in solving the rest of the puzzle.

On a real handheld Rubik's Cube my best time is under 3 minutes. On this PSP version my best time so far is 7.11 minutes. I think as I get better at the controls, I will probably be close to my real handheld type.

Yeah, you can change the button configuration too.
But I'm sooo used to rotating the real thing to start on different sides.
Best time on this game is 7 minutes.

Guys, my best time now is 2:03 It took me a while to beat my own time at 2:15... but I am happy. The thing that I keep doing wrong is sometimes I think about the buttons and controls I must move with my fingers to control the cube. When I don't think about them too much, it comes natural to me.
